FUNCTION SELECTION :

Turn the override key on OFF before selecting. After operation, turn the override key on ON.

- VOLTAGE SENSING:

DIP ¹1 ON : sensor activated
DIP ¹1 OFF : sensor excluded
Hazard-lights can always be used when alarm is armed.

- AUDIBLE ARM/DISARM SIGNAL:

DIP ¹2 ON : beep activated
DIP ¹2 OFF : beep disabled

- PASSIVE ARMING:

DIP ¹3 ON : passive arming activated
DIP ¹3 OFF : passive arming disabled

The feature causes the alarm to be armed (except central locking - ultrasonic - dose windows ) 45 seconds after the last door or boot lid (if connected ) has been closed when leaving the vehicle, if a door or the boot lid is opened during the 45 seconds countdown, the system waits for everything to be shut again , and then begins the 45 seconds countdown again. During the countdown LED comes on GREEN, then it will flash RED.

- AUTO-REARM:

DIP ¹4 ON : feature activated
DIP ¹4 OFF : feature disabled

It causes the system to rearm ( except central door locking - ultrasonic - dose windows ) if no door is opened within 45 seconds of the alarm being disarmed.

- CENTRAL DOOR LOCKING TIME SELECTION:

DIP ¹ 5 OFF and ¹6 OFF = doses 1 sec. , opens 1 sec.
DIP ¹5 OFF and ¹6 ON = closes 40 sec. , opens 1 sec.
DIP ¹5 ON and ¹6 OFF = doses 4 sec. , opens 4 sec.
DIP ¹5 ON and ¹6 ON = doses 25 sec. , opens 4 sec.

To install central door locking facility on not equipped vehicles, connect two or four two-wires door lock motors (ART. 960 ) in parallel. When the central door lock motor on the driver's side door is missing , connect a five-wines lock motor ( ART.961 ). If there is room enough on the door, connect it in parallel, otherwise remove the original actuator and connect its three wires to BLACK-VIOLET-BROWN wires.

By the above diagram , you can control directly central door locking f window-closer and sun roof-closer on vehicles equipped with "comfort" facility.

ALARM MEMORY

The visual warning of intrusion or false alarm starts when disarming and stops when ignition key is turned on.

Flashing YELLOW door-boot-bonnet
Continuous YELLOW voltage sensing
Continuous GREEN shock-sensor
Continuous RED ultrasonic

During entry time after arming , LED flashes GREEN for 30sec.

When alarm is fully armed , LED flashes RED.

ULTRASONIC AND WINDOW-CLOSER DISABLING:

Arm the alarm and, do not release the button of the transmitter until a third visual and/or acustic signal, will confirm ultrasonic and window-closer exclusion.

SENSOR AUTOTEST:

Should a sensor be activated when arming (i e door, boot, bonnet opened ) ,an intermittent beep sounds for 30 second and the sensor will be disabled.

SENSOR CALIBRATION :

Use the adjustment trimmers. A beep will warn when function adjusted.

ANTI-HIJACK SYSTEM:

When the engine is running , press the push-button of the remote control key for three seconds : the LED will flash red quickly. The system is excluded by turnin ignition key off instead, if passenger door is opened and dosed, the LED will flash red-green for 5 seconds, then the siren will sound and the indicator lights will flash.

After another 8 seconds the engine immobilizer will be activated and the vehicle will be stopped.

To be able to start again, press twice the push-button of the remote control key.

When the system is in alarm condition one can exclude the siren sound by pressing the transmitter button, without changing the fully armed state. Consequently to disarm the system one has to press again the transmitter button.

ULTRASONIC SENSORS

Set the sensors on the top side of the windscreen.

CALIBRATION:

Arm the alarm. During the 30 second entry time introduce one hand into the passenger compartment. A beep will alarm you that the sensors detect the movement. It is advisable not to extend the sensor action beyond the front seats.

NOTICE: when the override key is just turned ON, the alarm condition is similar to the passive or auto-rearm condition, that is the ultrasonic and close-windows are disabled.

AERIAL SETTING UP :

Ðèñ. 9

Set the aerial into the passengers compartment, if possible under the dash-board and far away from metal parts. Do not wind the terminal part, but keep it stretched. Should you shorten the aerial, do not forget to remake the not shielded terminal part.
