CONTENTS

With the purchase of your new alarm you have included

2 x Code hopping
2 channel transmitter
1x Module

CODE HOPPING DUAL CHANNEL TRANSMITTER

Operating the transmitter is a hopping code designed transmitter, each time is pressed, it will randomly transmit a different code, this prevent disarming the alarm system by coping the code and retransmitting the same code.

Three noticeable features.

  1. Channel 7 - arming/disarming and panic function.
  2. Channel 2 - trunk release function
  3. LED - Indicates that the button is being depressed. (Refer fig 1)

NOTE: To replace batteries in the transmitter, remove the Phillips head screws on the under side of the transmitter, gently raise the face cover from the bottom cover, take out old batteries and replace with new one ensuring correct polarity.

SECTOR PROTECTION

The system is connected by wires linked to the vehicles door, bonnet, boot & ignition key switch. Once the alarm is armed the systems intelligent management will monitor these sectors to protect your vehicle.

Please refer to the Protection Sector as follows :

A) Door Sector Protection

The door sector is very important sector, this protects unauthorized entry and also controls other functions such as last door auto arming, re-arming.

B) Hood/Trunk Sectors Protection

The hood and boot are protected by pin switches installed, once the alarm is armed any entry will trigger the system.

C) Optional sensor sectors protection

The system provides additional sectors which optional tensors such as dual zone microwave detectors or dual zone shock sensor which can be added to the system.

D) Immobilization protection

This is final protection of the system if all other sectors are invalid. If the would be thief turns on the ignition switch, the alarm will trigger.

ERROR SECTOR / ALARM TRIGGER DIAGNOSTIC

If when arming there is a series of chirps this mean that a protected sector is not closed or is faulty. Please refer to the Error chirp & Error Sector Isolation Table.

The system also incorporates a memory facility that records which sector has been triggered. Please refer to the Trigger Report Table.

Note : If a sector received three triggers this sector will be switched off.

(A) Error Chirp & Error Sector Isolation

If when arming the system by pressing the transmitter the system emit a series of chirps, this means that a protected sector is open or is at fault. Please refer to the table below.

Error Chirps SECTOR OPEN / FAULTY
1 CHIRP DOOR
2 CHIRPS HOOD/ TRUNK
4 CHIRPS OPTIONAL SENSORS
5 CHIRPS IGNITION (HOT WIRE)

Note : If you can not eliminated the error sector, the system will isolate this sector. All other sector will operate as normal.

If the system has been triggered the status LED will pulse on/off rapidly to inform you of that the system has been triggered. Disarm the system and turn the ignition key to the ACC position. The status LED will pulse on/off a number of times, please refer to the fable below

STATUS LED ON/OFF TRIGGERED SECTOR
1 PULSES DOOR
2 PULSES HOOD/ TRUNK
4 PULSES OPTIONAL SENSORS
5 PULSES IGNITION (HOT WIRE)

Note: If a sector received three triggers, this sector will be isolated and automatically reinstated on next arming of the system.
